Applications are now being accepted for the annual Princess of the Furrow competition.
Young women between the age of 11 and 16 will have to give a brief speech on agriculture and take part in an interview with a panel of judges.
Officials say contestants don’t need to have a background in farming, but an open mind and willingness to learn is a must.
The contest will take place to the Chatham-Kent Plowing Match on August 10th.
