A drug store near the site of the explosion in downtown Wheatley is slated for demolition.
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent said Erie Street North will close on April 11 to demolish Adamson Guardian Pharmacy on the corner of Erie Street and Talbot Road.
The closure between Talbot Road and Elm Street will also facilitate the staging and execution of a monitoring well pump test.
Erie Street North will remain closed until April 19 with truck detours in place around the closure.
