A garage fire in Wallaceburg will officially go down as an accident.
Fire fighters responded to a property on Base Line around 11:45 Sunday morning to find heavy smoke coming from the building.
Crews had to take a defensive stance against the flames but managed to prevent the home on the property from catching fire.
No injuries have been reported.
Damage is estimated at $300,000.
