Officials with the Salvation Army in Chatham-Kent are dusting off their iconic red kettles.
The organization is gearing up for its annual Christmas campaign, and is now accepting registrations for support.
Those looking for help are asked to contact one of the Community and Family Services offices in Chatham, Wallaceburg, and Ridgetown, and be prepared with household income statements and ID.
Meantime, the Salvation Army is also looking for volunteers to help with collecting donations. Kettles will be in stores in Chatham starting November 14 and in Wallaceburg as of November 21. Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
