A couple of 18 year old Blenheim men got into it last night. According to police, the two were known to each other and got into a physical altercation. A citizen driving on Marlborough Street in Blenheim witnessed the assault and jumped out to help. The victim was allegedly spit on and kicked.
The man responsible was located later that night and charged with assault.
