Goodfellows Benefit From Donations

Donations continue to pour in for the Chatham Goodfellows.

With just over a week left in the No Child Without a Christmas campaign, a number of companies have shown their support.

Erickson Manufacturing presented the Goodfellows with a cheque for $5000, Kent Minor Hockey’s Bantam AE team helped to purchase and collect toys and non-perishable food items for those in need, and UNIFOR members at MSSC in Chatham donated several pallets full of toys as well as over $8000 in cash.

Meantime, staff at Union Gas are being honoured for their dedication to the Chatham Goodfellows.

The organization is recognizing the utility’s employees with the first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award for the  thousands of hours of volunteer time as well as over $550,000 in toys, food and cash given to Goodfellows over the years.
