The Chatham Goodfellows had a successful weekend preparing for their annual No Child Without a Christmas campaign.
The group was collecting gifts and donations this past weekend, and received 11 floor totes filled with toys, 100 boxes of non-perishable food, and 2,000 dollars in cash.
The board of directors has also made a change in policy by increasing the age limit of recipients from 12 to 15.
Starting on Monday November 2nd they will start taking online applications for folks in need this Christmas at their website chathamgoodfellows.ca.
A week later, on November 9th from 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday those in need can call 519-354-1146 to register for food and toys.
November 30th there will be a virtual porchlight campaign where people can e-transfer money and turn on their porchlight to show support.
