Union Gas will be donating at least $13,000 toward the Chatham Goodfellows’ annual No Child Without a Christmas campaign. 
Union Gas fundraising chair Angela Scott says that’s just a starting point.
“Last year we raised over $27,000, today we’re happy to say we have $13,000 and climbing,” Scott says. “This is our big kick off, we’ve got two more weeks of work to come so hopefully a lot more money. We also get toys and non-perishable food items.”
Today is the deadline for applications for food or toys baskets and Goodfellows’ volunteers will be conducting the porch-light campaign Monday, with basket deliveries beginning on the 20th.
