Chatham Goodfellows will soon be accepting applications from families to help ensure no child goes without a Christmas.
Local families can apply to the 70th annual No Child Without a Christmas campaign starting next month. Those who have applied in previous years can send in an application online beginning on November 1 at ChathamGoodfellows.ca. All other families can apply by phone beginning on November 4 by calling 519 354 1146.
Applications will close on November 29.
Last year’s campaign saw more than 1,600 families and 1,300 children receive food and toys over the holidays. Over $228,000 in donations was collected through donations from businesses, community groups, and local citizens.
