Volunteers with the Chatham Goodfellows are hitting the streets.

The annual Street Sales fundraiser, part of the overall No Child Without a Christmas campaign, kicked off today and continues tomorrow. Volunteers will be spread across Chatham wearing their tell-tale red aprons and handing out copies of the Goodfellows newspaper.

Delivery of toy baskets takes place next Tuesday, and the food hampers go out on Wednesday.

Last year’s Goodfellows campaign saw more than 1,600 families and 1,300 children receive food and toys over the holidays, with more than $228,000 in donations collected from businesses, community groups, and local residents.
