A new fundraiser is coming to Chatham-Kent.
The Grand Parade is set for September 17th to support services for older adults in Chatham-Kent.
Hosted by Family Services Kent, money raised will be used towards the Community & Home Assistance Program (CHAP) which provides safe, accessible, and affordable services in the community to enhance independence and quality of life and to older adults utilizing the Community Counselling Program.
Organizers are hoping to raise $20,000.
The fundraising walk includes 2.5 and 5km distances, starting from the Sons of Kent on Adelaide Street South in Chatham.
