Close to $1 million is now up for grabs through the provincial government in an effort to make Ontario communities more inclusive and accessible.
Municipalities, non-profit organizations, and Indigenous communities can now apply for the 2023-2024 round of Inclusive Community Grants to receive up to $60,000 for local projects that will help older residents and people with disabilities participate in community life.
The province is investing $750,000 into this year’s grant program. Eligible organizations have until April 20 to submit their applications.
Since its inception in 2020, the Inclusive Community Grants Program has provided up to $3.7 million to support 72 projects in communities across Ontario.
