The cause of a residential fire in Chatham remains under investigation.
Crews from Stations 1 and 2 responded to Gray Street shortly after 10 Tuesday night to find two neighbouring homes on fire.
Firefighters worked to contain and extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.
Officials say the cost of damage has been estimated between $500,000 and $600,000.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office has been notified. Chatham-Kent Fire and Rescue inspectors remain on scene and the scene is being held by Chatham-Kent Police.
