An Alberta man is facing charges following allegations of repeated incidents of harassment.

Chatham-Kent Police launched an investigation into a report of intimate partner violence in Chatham on Sunday, September 8.

Investigators learned about a physical altercation between a man and woman in a vehicle, after which the man allegedly continued to harass the woman through phone calls and social media, and showing up at her home, despite repeatedly being told to stop.

Police contact the suspect and say he turned himself in at police headquarters.

The 24-year-old Airdrie man has been charged with two counts each of assault and criminal harassment. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
