A 37 year old Glencoe man is facing several charges after Chatham-Kent police say he was hanging out where he shouldn’t have been.

On March 26th the accused attended the victim’s residence despite being under conditions not to be in the municipality, or communicate with the person. A verbal confrontation ensued and the accused allegedly assaulted the victim.

The next day police say he was back and climbed through an unlocked window and demanded a ride home to Glencoe.

Early Sunday morning an officer spotted the suspect walking along St. Clair Road near Pioneer Line.

He was arrested and charged with six counts of failing to comply with a court order, unlawfully in a dwelling, assault, and criminal harassment.  He was held pending a bail hearing.
