A Chatham man is facing charges after a series of altercations involving a local woman.
Police were called to a Chatham home shortly before 7:30 Tuesday evening as part of an intimate partner violence investigation.
Chatham-Kent Police say there were several incidents and a pattern of behaviour leading up to the charges, however no further details are being released to protect the victim’s privacy and mental well-being.
The 50-year-old accused has been charged with two counts of criminal harassment, one for repeatedly following from place to place, the second for watching the dwelling from house, work, or any place the other person happens to be.
The man was released with conditions and will appear in court next month.
