Mrs. Hazel Blake, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg, at the age of 87.
Hazel was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of Calice and Evelyn (Cartier) Belanger.
Beloved wife of Edwin Blake.
Dear mother of Ron (Jenn), Ken, Arlene (Jack), Rob (Anne Marie), Shirley (Ron).
Loving grandmother of Lance, Tracy, Josh, Ashley, Keith, Michelle, Felecia, Kyle, Shannon, Michael and Jessica. Sadly missed by 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Kind sister of Irene and sister-in-law of Lois.
Predeceased by a son Wayne, a grandson Chris, her brothers Edward, Joseph, Harvey, Felix, Edgar, Norman, Art, Paul, Lawrence and her sisters Eva, Cecilia, Marie, Theresa and Leona.
Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg with Fr. Chris Gillespie, Celebrant.
Cremation will follow.
Interment of ashes in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg at a later date.

As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in Memory of Hazel Blake.
