The future of health care will be in the spotlight in Wallaceburg tonight.
Chair of the Wallaceburg and Walpole Island First Nation Health Coalition, Shirley Roebuck, says they’ll be discussing a number of issues, both locally and provincially.
“You’ll remember the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance just announced bed closures and layoffs, which we feel does not serve the people of Chatham-Kent at all,” she says. “This same scenario is happening province-wide.”
Roebuck says hearings on progressive health reform will be held across the province next month, including one in Wallaceburg.
Tonight’s meeting is being held at 7 o’clock at the UAW Hall.
