Patients seeking mental health care now have easier access to services in the community.
Health Alliance CEO Lori Marshall was on hand for a ribbon cutting this week at the new joint CKHA and Canadian Mental Health Association office on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
“One of the reasons we wanted to celebrate and do our ribbon cutting this week is because it mental health week and make sure we raise awareness and reduce the stigma,” says Marshall. “And we do think this move, to have everybody in one building is a symbol of that.”
Marshall says the new joint location provides more streamlined and convenient access to mental health care in Chatham-Kent.
