Heat Warning Continues

It’s shaping up to be another hot, muggy start to the week around Chatham-Kent.

Environment Canada has continued a heat warning for the area, with temperatures in the low 30s and humidex values into the 40s.

Officials warn that heat poses the greatest risk for young children, pregnant women, older adults, and those with chronic conditions.

Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle, and outdoor workers should make sure to take regularly scheduled breaks to cool down.

A cold front is expected to move across the region on Wednesday, bringing cooler temperatures.
