More work is being done around the site of the August 26th explosion in Wheatley.
Entegrus crews are on site this week removing power lines in preparation for demolition work near where repeated hydrogen sulphide leaks have been detected.
Heavy equipment will be on site in the next few days or early next week.
Despite a brief pause last week because of another gas release, more residents are gaining access to their properties. As of this morning, municipal officials say roughly 25% of homes and businesses in the evacuation zone have been accessed.
