It’s going to be a wet start to the month of May.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Chatham-Kent ahead of significant rainfall on Tuesday.
The weather agency said rain is expected to move in from the southwest Tuesday morning as a low pressure system approaches.
Up to 20-30 mm of rain is possible, however, there is a risk of a thunderstorm which could bring heavy downpours and up to 40 mm of rainfall.
Environment Canada is urging drivers to use caution and take their time as heavy downpours can cause water pooling on roads.
