A campaign to help support those most at risk in our community has exceeded all expectations.
Back in December, Maple City Homes put out a challenge to residents and businesses to help raise $100,000 to support the homeless.
Over the next five weeks, local businesses and organizations stepped up to collect $107,992.
“While Maple City Homes has been relatively unaffected by the pandemic, our team, subtrades, and suppliers are mindful that this isn’t the case for many others in the community,” says Maple City Homes President and United Way Board Member Robb Nelson. “As a new home builder experiencing significant growth, we feel a responsibility in supporting our vulnerable and homeless population.”
All funds raised will go directly to support various non-profit groups that help ease the burdens experienced by the homeless in Chatham-Kent.
