Helping Hands Helping Hospital

A local group is continuing its legacy of supporting health care in Chatham-Kent.

The Helping Hands Auxiliary, which runs the gift shop at the Chatham hospital, has cut a cheque for $20,500 for the CKHA Foundation.

The money has been earmarked for a new mobile procedure light in the OB/GYN clinic and the tele-stroke project for the emergency department in Chatham.

Over the years, the Helping Hands Auxiliary has raised more than $350,000 for the local hospitals.
