A Wallaceburg based police officer is being recognized for his dedication to the community.

Constable Todd Trahan received a certificate of appreciation from the Royal Canadian Legion this week.

Trahan has been involved in protecting and patrolling Wallaceburg waterways during the summer months, and during events like the Dragon Boat Races and WAMBO.

“I am truly humbled to have been recognized for my involvement in our community over the past 15 years.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Legion for the nomination and their involvement in our community,” Trahan says.  “It’s been an honour to be part of these events over the years, especially in the community where I live and serve.”
