A high speed chase through Wallaceburg over the weekend left Chatham-Kent Police empty handed. 
Officers spotted a suspicious vehicle driving through Wallaceburg on Saturday with obstructed license plates. Police tried to pull over the vehicle as it was heading east out of town, but the driver sped off.
Authorities say the pursuit was terminated after two minutes because of public safety concerns.
