Residents of Highgate will be celebrating this weekend during the town’s annual fall fair.
The Highgate Fair will mark its 172nd year on Saturday with the theme “From Olden Days to Modern Ways.”
Organizers with the Highgate District Agricultural Society say the day’s events include a mix of educational and entertaining activities for all ages, agricultural exhibits and competitions, a pie auction, barn quilt demonstration, pony rides, a petting zoo, and more.
Everything kicks off at noon on Saturday with the annual parade, starting at the Highgate Legion and making its way to the fairgrounds.
Admission for the event is $5 per person but elementary school students get in free.
