Just in time for the winter break, a new state-of-the-art trampoline park is opening its doors in Chatham.
The Flying Squirrel’s newest location was first announced in May, 2023 with an expected opening just four months later. However, issues including equipment delivery delays, pushed the project back.
Now, the 46,000 square foot indoor amusement park is set to hold its grand opening at 730 Richmond Street in Chatham at 10am on Saturday, December 21.
The facility includes an indoor trampoline facility, rock wall, zip lines, an arcade, and a restaurant.
Owner Don Tetrault shared his enthusiasm in a previous interview, saying the Richmond Street facility will provide state-of-the-art technology and games.
“I am excited to see the joy this facility will bring to the children, teenagers, young adults & caregivers of our community,” he said.
The new facility in Chatham joins other Flying Squirrel locations in London, Hamilton, Whitby, Ottawa, Victoria, Winnipeg and Calgary.
