A Tragically Hip Tribute concert is helping children with special needs in Chatham-Kent.

Grace 2 performed to a sold out crowed at the Chatham Armoury on April 19th, raising money for the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent.

Organizers say after expenses, the event raised $9505, but the band chipped in to raise the total to an even $10,000.

The Children’s Treatment Centre supports as many as 5000 children and youth with physical, developmental, and communication needs.

Proceeds will support social work, therapeutic recreation and music therapy offered by the Treatment Centre to ensure more children and families have access to the support they need.
