Impaired driving charges have been laid following a crash in Chatham Friday night.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, a vehicle hit a parked car on Degge Street just after 11 and fled the scene.
Officers later found the vehicle on Merritt Avenue and arrested the driver.
The 23-year-old was taken to headquarters for breath tests and has been charged with failing to stop after an accident and having more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
He’ll have to face the charges in court later this month.
