Chatham will be rocking tonight to help the less fortunate. holiday-jam

The 12th annual Holiday Jam for Hunger is being held in support of Outreach for Hunger.

Organizer Alysson Storey says they’ve got a great lineup.

“We have two very talented musicians and bands playing,” Storey says. “Rob Mitchell, who is from Chatham-Kent but now lives in Guelph and has had some success on the CBC Searchlight competition, he’s opening up the evening. And then Blutonium, who is a very well known and very talented local band from Chatham who plays all over southwestern Ontario, they’re the headliners.”

Admission is by donation.

“We’re recommending around $10, but whatever you’re comfortable with we’re happy to accept,” Storey says, “and all proceeds go towards Outreach for Hunger, an organization that needs our help, especially this time of year.”

Doors open at BOB’s Bar Out Back on Keil Drive at 8:30 and the music starts at 9pm.
