Holiday Spirit Shines in Wallaceburg and Dresden

The holiday spirit will be alive and well in a pair of Chatham-Kent communities later today.

Frost Fest, hosted by the Downtown Wallaceburg BIA and River of Lights committee kicks off at 4 o’clock this afternoon. Festivities include a holiday market, special programming at the Wallaceburg library, horse-drawn carriage rides, and colourful banners showcasing local artists throughout the downtown core. Meantime in Dresden, the annual Merry and Bright Thursday Nights kick off this evening, running now through December 18. Downtown merchants are open late until 8 pm, and visitors can take in a variety of specials and Christmas themed activities. A tree-lighting ceremony will be held at 6:30 this evening at the Dresden Town Hall, followed by live music and special holiday-themed events at numerous businesses.  More details can be found at Christmas-town.ca.
