The risks associated with operating during this period of COVID-19, have made it impossible for the Home James Program to operate this holiday season.
The committee met over the weekend and made the announcement that they were not able to operate this year.
They determined it was not safe to proceed for the safety of their volunteers and clients.
Holiday revellers who had one too many could call and two volunteers would arrive and make sure everyone got home safely as did their vehicle.
They expect to be back in operation next year.
