Charges have been laid after a man was spotted walking in Chatham carrying a home-made spear.
Police received several calls Saturday afternoon, describing a man walking on St Clair Street wearing a mask and carrying the spear strapped to his back.
Officers tracked down the suspect and say the man was already under a court order not to possess any weapons.
He was taken to police headquarters and released with a date in court February 6th.
