The local real estate market continues to do very well in Chatham-Kent.
Over 500 homes were sold locally in the last 5 months.
Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors President Steve Carroll says average home prices are up 20% this spring from this time last year.
He says the average sale price last month was over $254,000.
Carroll says the market continues to be competitive with a low number of homes being listed for sale.
