August was a good month for the local real estate industry. Jamie Winkler, the association president says home sales continue to strengthen.
“We’re seeing a trend this summer, it’s very positive, it’s tracking from June through August and it’s been very positive,” says Winkler. “We’ve had results that go back to the 2007 mark when real estate was doing well in our market.”
The average price sold in August was $157,775 down from the yearly average of $158,420.
