A special fundraiser is kicking off September 1st, helping to support those affected by the housing crisis.

In past years, The RONA Foundation, the charitable arm of Rona and Lowes hardware stores, has raised money for local organizations through its Canada Heroes fundraiser.

This year the Foundation is launching the Home Sweet Home campaign to help support the most vulnerable populations to revitalize living environments or make access to housing easier.

Donations made at RONA stores in Chatham and Wallaceburg will benefit the Chatham-Kent Women’s Centre. The Sarnia location is supporting Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton, RONA Leamington will benefit Building Bridges Erie Shores, and the Windsor stores will help Charity House.

The Home Sweet Home campaign runs throughout the month of September.

Customers are invited to make donations to support the selected local cause. The campaign will take place in all our corporate stores in the RONA network, as well as in 4 distribution centres, and nearly 30 participating affiliated stores. Online donations are also possible at lowes.ca, rona.ca, and renodepot.com.
