Dr Shawn Segeren, a CK native, began volunteering at the hospital when he was just 13 and most recently completed his residency in Chatham-Kent through Western University.

“I’m excited to be returning to my hometown. Chatham-Kent has provided me with so many great opportunities throughout my life, and I’m looking forward to giving back to the community as a Family and Emergency Physician,” said Dr. Segeren.

Dr Segeren will be taking over for the retiring Dr Jack Galbraith at the CK Family Health Team, although he won’t be taking on any new patients. He’ll also be working in the ER at the Health Alliance.
