6 egg yolks

¼ cup sugar

3 tbsp rum extract

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 ½ cups chilled cream

6 egg whites

5 tablespoons sugar

Nutmeg

 

 

Beat egg yolks,1/4 cup sugar, rum extract,  and vanilla extract until very thick and lemon-colored.

Add chilled cream gradually and continue to beat until blended

Set aside

Beat egg whites until frothy

Add 5 sugar tablespoons gradually, beating well after each addition.

Gently fold egg whites into egg yolk mixture until blended.  Chill in refrigerator

Pour into punch bowl and gently mix before serving. Ladle into serving cups and sprinkle lightly with nutmeg
