Murder charges have been laid against three area residents in connection to a fight last month.
Chatham-Kent Police say a Howard Township man was at an apartment on Sandys Street back on September 21st when a physical altercation broke out with two other men and a woman.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital in Chatham and later transferred to Windsor – the 31-year-old, identified as Beau Veenstra, succumbed to his injuries last Friday.
The following day, three people were arrested.
Two males of Chatham, 49 and 25 years old, have been charged with second degree murder.
A 41 year old woman, also of Chatham, has been charged with second degree murder as well.
