It’s going to be a wish come true for a young girl battling cancer.
Hayden Foulon was diagnosed with leukemia when she was just 22 months.
Now seven years old, she’s had three relapses, a stem cell transplant, undergone experimental cell therapy in the States, and is in the midst of her third fight with the disease in five years.
Friends and family are inviting the entire community to join them this Friday afternoon to scratch an item off Hayden’s wish list = having something named after her.
An anonymous donor has created a park bench with Hayden’s mantra, “Never ever ever give up.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at Kinsmen Park in Wallaceburg at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon.
