Honouring Chatham-Kent’s Community Leaders

More than 30 local residents will be honoured tonight as part of Chatham-Kent’s inaugural Community Recognition Awards.

The program is a partnership between the municipality and CN Rail, sharing stories of volunteerism, community leadership, and innovation.

Tonight’s honourees, which include 28 individuals and one local family, were selected by members of council as a way to acknowledge their hard work and dedication to the community.

Tonight’s ceremony at the Bradley Convention Centre gets underway at 6:30.
