A new exhibit at the Wallaceburg and District Museum is paying tribute to the areaโ€™s nautical history.

The exhibit has been donated by the local chapter of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons, a volunteer organization devoted to boating education, safety training, and community service.

The Wallaceburg Power Squadron operated from 1960 until 2024.

Included in the generous donation are flags, photographs and information, a bell, and a shipโ€™s helm. These items are currently on display at the museum on King Street.
