A new exhibit at the Wallaceburg and District Museum is paying tribute to the area’s nautical history.
The exhibit has been donated by the local chapter of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons, a volunteer organization devoted to boating education, safety training, and community service.
The Wallaceburg Power Squadron operated from 1960 until 2024.
Included in the generous donation are flags, photographs and information, a bell, and a ship’s helm. These items are currently on display at the museum on King Street.
