A local men’s shelter is offering a free lunch tomorrow for anyone who’d like to know more about what their organization does. 
Joe Simpson, Director of Chatham’s Hope Haven, says their shelter is run completely through donations.
“Because we don’t have a steady, solvent income source, we’re not funded by any ministry or government branch, we rely 100% on the generosity of the community,” Simpson says. “Sometimes it seems we’re self-supporting through our own contributions, but you can only do that so much for so long.”
Their free Outreach Luncheon is Sunday from 1-3pm at Chatham Hope Haven on 183 Wellington Street West in Chatham.
