Hope Wants CK to Remain on Track

Randy Hope is hoping to get re-elected for a 4th term as Mayor of Chatham-Kent.

He says he’d like to keep the municipality on track by staying on as Mayor.

“At one time we had a lot of empty factories, and now we’re getting the factories full, we’ve got to get the people who are needed to [work there]. So we still need to attract and create new assessments with industries in our communities, but at the same time, we need to attract more people,” Hope says.

Hope says his plans also include bypasses in Chatham and Wallaceburg, a new twin-pad arena in Chatham, and bringing more jobs to the area.

The municipal election is taking place on October 22nd.
