Tickets are selling fast for this year’s biggest fundraiser in support of Chatham-Kent Hospice.
The Hospice Benefit Gala, set to take place October 23 at the Chatham Armoury, marks 10 years of compassionate care, and honours the lives and families who have been touched by the end-of-life care facility.
The evening will include a gourmet meal, live and silent auctions, dancing, and a special Hospice family story. Organizers are also planning a special 10th anniversary memorial activity, providing guests with an opportunity to pause, reflect, and honour loved ones who are no longer with us.
“This year’s Gala is particularly special as we celebrate 10 years of Chatham-Kent Hospice,” shared Ginny Hawken, Special Event Committee Chair and Foundation Board Member in a news release. “Over the past decade, Hospice has been there for thousands of individuals and families, providing compassionate care and creating space for meaningful moments together. The Gala is an opportunity to celebrate that impact, remember those we have lost, and look ahead to the future of Hospice in our community.”
Over the past nine years, the Hospice Benefit Gala has raised more than $750,000 to support care planning, residential hospice care, and grief and bereavement support in Chatham-Kent.
Tickets are $250 per person, including a $100 tax receipt.
