
Hosting the Cascades Casino in Chatham continues to pay off for the municipality.
Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has made the second quarter payment to Chatham-Kent totalling $439,029 for hosting the gaming site.
The total payment is based on the amount of gaming revenue generated at Cascades Casino from July 1 to September 30, 2024.
So far, during OLG’s fiscal year, Chatham-Kent has been given $881,071 in community host payments. Since April 2001, Chatham-Kent has received $18,680,536, including host fees from both the former Dresden Slots and the current Cascades Casino.
Funds are put toward local infrastructure projects and community programs.
