It’s a chance to clear out your garage, basement, or shed.
Saturday, September 21 marks a rare weekend date for the municipality’s household hazardous waste days.
Items like batteries, paint cans, solvents, pool chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and more can be taken to Veolia Environmental Services on Prosperity Way in the Bloomfield Business Park between 8am and 1pm. Propane tanks, agricultural waste, and explosives are not accepted.

There are two more drop-off days planned this year, including Tuesday, October 8 and Tuesday, November 12.
