The Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board is hosting an event tomorrow all about finding the best employees, hanging on to them, and engaging them to do better.
Project Manager Kristy Jacobs says one of the keynotes is David Coletto, and his discussion on a demographic that’s getting more and more attention.
“One of the big challenges that came up (in the recent EmployerOne survey) was dealing with inter-generational workforces, how do we do this, it’s so hard to work together,” Jacobs says. “He’s going to come and speak a little bit from the millennial side, but also just talking about this is what we’re dealing with, these are some of the challenges we’re going to face, these are some of the strategies that you can implement to help your inter-generational workforce work a little more harmoniously together.”
The event takes place from 2-8 at the John D. Bradley Centre.
