There are lots of happy people and smiling faces in the wake of yesterday’s dragon boat races. The weather was great and the crowds packed the river to take in the action.
Racer Addie Gushue came down from London, she says her team had a great time.
“Out team is called ‘Dragon’s Breath’ and it is cancer survivors and supporters,” says Gushue. “If you harness a dragon’s breath you get prosperity, good health and happiness and that’s what we aim for. We’re all ages, shapes and sizes. We just like to dragon boat.
Money raised goes to the Breast Buddies and the United Way.
